BIOVITAE® is compliant with the ROHS2 requirements, introduced by Directive 2011/65/CE. The directive provides for the reduction of the use of lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (Cr6 +), polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) in the production of some of the electrical and electronic equipment sold in the European Union, staying below the required limits by not less than ten folds.
